Before the baby arrives, we celebrate the mother who is being born too.
A circle with the women you love most, gathered to honour the passage you are living, and to fill you with tenderness and blessings before birth.
What is a Blessingway?
It is not a baby shower.
There are no games, no wrapped gifts, and the baby is not the centre of attention. The word Blessingway comes from a sacred ceremony of the Navajo people (Diné): a rite of blessing and of restoring harmony, held at life's great thresholds.
From the late twentieth century onwards, midwives and women in the West drew inspiration from the spirit of this tradition to recover something modern culture had lost: a moment devoted to honouring the woman in the midst of her own metamorphosis.
Because somewhere along the way, we got it backwards. We fill expectant mothers with objects for the baby and forget to prepare them for the greatest transformation of their lives. The Blessingway gives that focus back to the one who is living it: the mother.
*also called a Mother Blessing in some countries
You leave with a support network
In our culture, we often cross into motherhood alone: with fear, contradictory information, and other people's expectations. The Blessingway gathers your tribe to assure you that you will not be doing this alone.
Gentle care, blessings, and symbols to take with you into the birthing room — and a commitment of presence for the days after the baby arrives.

Who guides your Blessingway
Sueli Spencer
A scientist by training, I opened Feel at Om to share with the world the practices and therapies that have most shaped my life. When I was pregnant with my third baby, my friends organised a Blessingway in my honour — and I fell in love with these rites of passage, these celebrations so full of meaning. I bring you not only my own experience, but also my training in ritual practice through Sabedoria da Lua, and my passion for motherhood.

Instead of material gifts, you and the other women in her life come together for a circle where she feels seen, held, and celebrated — even before the baby arrives.
You gather the guests (up to 12), and the cost can be shared between you all.
We take care of everything else: the space, the rituals, the food, the materials, the practitioners. All you need to do is show up and be present with her.
